Senior Sales Representative

West Michigan's premiere IT business solution provider is seeking an experienced, highly motivated, customer-focused, professional Senior Sales Representative to manage existing clients and increase market share in the Grand Rapids market. This position will be based out of our Grand Rapids office and will report to the Director of Sales and Marketing. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales and business development plans
  • Increase market share by achieving sales and revenue goals
  • Research, identify, and deliver profitable business opportunities with new and existing clients through customer relationships, cold calling, client presentations, referral generation, cross-selling, and networking
  • Identify new sales opportunities in relationship to existing service lines, application development, and competitor offerings
  • Develop close customer relationships and thorough understanding of client needs; trouble-shoot customer issues
  • Provide on-going communication with management on plan activity
  • Collaborate with other functional areas to access all available resources
  • Maintain client/contact database using company designated software
  • Participate in company sales meetings and training programs

Candidates applying for this position must have the following minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related degree with three or more years sales/marketing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of solution selling process
  • Demonstrated ability to sell effectively and meet revenue objectives and other sales related targets
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail
  • Experience communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrated organizational skills used in planning and maintaining an efficient and effective business development plan
  • Ability to represent the company in a professional, positive, and courteous manner
  • An understanding of business issues and concepts

  • Demonstrated sales success in the local Grand Rapids business market
  • Knowledge of developing IT solutions to meet business needs
  • Understanding of VoIP, advanced network infrastructures, application development, and enterprise security

Application Developer 

The Application Developer at ISG is a highly skilled technical resource focused on developing software applications utilizing the latest development toolsets from Microsoft.  These positions also focus on delivering solutions that meet the customers technology and business requirements and have high customer satisfaction.  This includes, but is not limited to, design and development of software applications, application and platform support for custom developed applications.  Salary is commensurate with experience.

Required Skills:

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Experience with VB.NET, C#, Visual Basic 6, ASP.NET, ASP
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
  • Minimum of 4– 5 years experience.
  • Solid understanding and experience in applying development
